Does the state of Georgia have a grace period for expired CNA certificates?

I was also late renewing my license and I called the registry. The person I spoke to was very nice and said that as long as you meet the requirements you can renew your license even if you didn’t do it in time.

As far as I know there is no renewal grace period for CNAs in Georgia but you should call the GA Nurse Aide Registry at (800) 414-4358 or locally at (678) 527-3010 to make sure this is the case. I know that some other states such as Maryland offer a grace period while for example Montana does not.
