An LNA-MA is a licensed nursing assistant who has also become medication certified. An LNA Medication Certified education program in New Hampshire must receive approval from the Board of Nursing. This type of program is offered by long-term care facilities and require the completion of at least four educational hours. Some of the topics covered in the program include: safety and emergency procedures, infection control, medication assisting techniques, proper ways to observe and document, as well as techniques to recognize and report client behavior.
