A Montana nurse aide has to accumulate a minimum of twelve hours of in-service education per year. It is the responsibility of the facility employing the aide to offer these educational hours. The educational material may be in the form of videos or audio tape presentations, as well as readings and research projects. In-service hours should focus on enhancing the nurse aide's skills and nursing knowledge.
