Your status on the Missouri Nurse Aide Registry is listed as either active or inactive. If the Department of Health and Human Services did not receive proof of work from your employer, and it is time for certification renewal, then your status will be listed as inactive. Inactive status may be changed to active if you submit proof paid employment providing nursing services. Proof of employment accepted by the Department of Health include: a letter from your employer on official letterhead specifying dates of employment, the position held, and job duties; a copy of your W-2 form; a copy of a pay stub; or a Social Security employment statement.
