You are not allowed to challenge the CNA exam in Georgia without prior training. All CNA candidates in Georgia must complete a state approved nurse aide training program and then successfully pass the Written/Oral and Skills State Competency Examination within one year of completing the program.
You may apply for reciprocity if you wish to be certified in Georgia and you are currently listed as active and in good standing on another state's Nurse Aide Registry in accordance with the federal requirements. You can find the reciprocity application, requirements, instructions and contact information here.
