To become a CNA or a medication aide program instructor in North Carolina, you must be a professional registered nurse (RN) with a current, unrestricted license to practice in this state. Other requirements must also be met, such as a minimum of two years of work experience as a registered nurse, as well as experience or coursework related to teaching adults.
