According to the Indiana State Department of Health, nurse aide training programs must have at least thirty (30) hours of classroom instructions and a minimum of seventy-five (75) clinical instruction hours. Nursing assistant hands-on training has to be supervised by an Indiana licensed nurse employing the Indiana Department of Health approved resident care procedures.
