When should I begin the transferring process?

I am a CNA in North Dakota, moving to California in March. When should I start looking into getting everything switched over? Once registered in CA am I still able to work as a CNA in ND? How long does the process take?

Please see the answer on this page for how to transfer a CNA certification to California. The process can take a month or more but you should get started as soon as possible. You can still work as a CNA in North Dakota for as long as you need to as long as you meet all the requirements to stay active on the ND registry.
